On the 14th of November, Imke Haverkämper, researcher at RWTH Aachen University joined the “Public Perception and Business Models Joint Event” in Brussels, Belgium.

The event was a great occasion to share knowledge and best practices on business models and public perception with more than 20 EU-funded projects and more than 50 key stakeholders involved in the audience.

Our colleague Imke was one of the speakers selected for the Public Perception session, where she presented the results of her research on social perception and acceptance of CO2SMOS innovations and CO2-based bio-products.

Public perception is a key aspect to enable innovative technologies and products. Moreover, insights into what influences public perception, perceived risks, and emerging trends are fundamental for policymakers to design effective policies that are well-received and aligned with public expectations.

Special thanks to the Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) & Alternative Fuels Horizon2020 and HorizonEurope CLUSTER projects CLEANKER, CaLby2030 project, HERCCULES project, eCOCO2 and CINEA for the organisation of this successful event.
